Who can apply?

How it works

  • Step 1 - Apply

    Complete and submit the online application. Take the ACCUPLACER or ACT test if needed (results within the last 5 years are required)

  • Step 2: Training (FREE!)

    CompletePre-Apprenticeship Training, including:

    • Intro to LSR Work  
    • OSHA 30 Certification
    • First Aid/CPR & Traffic Control Training
  • Step 3: Paid On-the-Job Training

    Receive a job offer from Five Star Energy Services to work on the EquiFlow Lead-Free Program in Wausau, WI. Get hands-on experience replacing lead water service lines and earn while you learn!

  • Step 4: Join the LIUNA Apprenticeship

    Continue with LIUNA's full apprenticeship program (400 classroom hours + 4,000 field hours).
    Secure long-term employment with union benefits.
